I am happy to be able to provide a model of treatment called Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS believes we all have parts or sub-personalities, as well as a seat of consciousness, the Self. As a client learns more about their parts, and as a client identifies those parts that need healing, the Self is more capable of regulating painful thoughts and feelings.
